One day while at the races I happened across a poster for the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation. It inspired me to get involved. I thought of creating a portfolio of images and doing a show to benefit the TRF. Now years later, that idea has become reality.
I have tried to find the serenity of Saratoga mornings, the magnificence of the Thoroughbred, and the thrill of racing. Each piece (with the exception of 1) is for sale and the net proceeds will go to benefit the TRF.
All prints have been prepared with the help of photographer and printer Michael Sibilia, using archival inks on archival paper or canvas. Framing is by Blake Dewes of Artcraft Camera, in Kingston, NY. We’ve chosen 8-ply archival mattes, gallery-rated glass, and square-edged white frames for a unique and distinctive look.
Thanks to all the wonderful people in the Saratoga community that I have met over these years. You have shared your stories and kindness, and proven that the journey is truly the reward.
